The Institute of Agri-food and Land Use has a technology centre (ASSET) which develops innovative biosensor based means of detecting a wide range of chemical and microbial contaminants in animal feeds, farm animals, food and water. The Institute also has a state of the art cell culture facility which can generate and characterize in vitro and in vivo produced antibodies for a wide range of targets.
