‘Smart’ teddy monitors your child
A teddy bear that is able to monitor the health of the child hugging it
has been developed to aid paediatric care.
Teddy the Guardian, developed in Croatia by entrepreneurs Josipa
Majic and Ana Burica, is able to detect temperature, heart rate and
blood-oxygen levels, simply by being cuddled.
The data is then transmitted wirelessly to a smartphone.
