S100:
Looking at everything you do, what gets you most excited?
CMN:
Supporting the career development of young people who have out-
standing potential – and seeing them fulfil it. I’ve had one or two successes
.
S100:
What makes a great weekend?
CMN:
That’s easy - Newcastle United winning, a very dry gin martini
(Plymouth gin, of course and always stirred, never shaken) and an excellent
home-cooked dinner.
S100:
Any special interests – movies, books, music, sports?
CMN:
I play golf – too infrequently to be as consistent as I’d like - I tend to
hook my putts. I’m sure retirement will improve my game !
S100:
Calum, thanks for your time. Sorry we won’t be seeing you at Sensors in
Medicine 2014, but we’ll keep trying! Your interest in gin would fit very well with
others in the Sensor100 community. Best wishes for the future.
