This unique conference will bring together academic researchers, cli-
nicians and the commercial world to explore opportunities for the
application of sensor technology in the early diagnosis of cancer.
Early diagnosis of cancer can significantly improve the outcome of
treatment; sensors represent a viable approach to this problem. De-
spite a significant research effort, relatively little of this technology
has yet reached the clinic.
